Social Distancing In The Cafeteria At The Kuala Lumpur Court Complex

Circular No: 171/2020
Date: 18 December 2020

Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,

We have received feedback from the Kuala Lumpur Court that some members are not practising social distancing in the cafeteria especially during lunch time. Members are not allowed to be seated closely next to one another.

We advise members to practise social distancing in the Cafeteria to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Please note that in order to address this situation, the Courts have resorted to tying down the chairs to the respective tables but to no avail. The Courts have requested that where possible, there should only be a single Member seated at a table.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding in this era of the new normal.

Thank you.

Regards,
